How to curl a synthetic wig

Brush first

No point in applying the heat for a long period of time

If you happen to be using a blower dryer you should aim it for not more than 60 seconds at a time. The longer you end up applying the heat, the more damage it is likely to cause.

If you happen to use a hot iron or a curling iron, make sure that the hair does not sit on the heat source. Make sure that you hold the iron onto the heat as far as possible, as it would take time to curl and this is up to 10 seconds with a curling iron. Then you may have to remove it.

Another way to prevent damage to the hair is the application of hair spray. You have to get things sorted out at the first instance so that you do not have to curl the hair over and over again. To make sure that the curls stay longer, pinch the curl into a place of your head and to hold the style apply plenty of hair spray.
