Best OSRS Quests for Beginners

If you are just starting out in OSRS, then here are some quests for you to consider checking out.

There are a lot of different reasons why players opt for questing. Whether its rewards, the experience, or the lack of OSRS gold investment required, there are a wealth of motives to take on a quest. If you are just starting out in OSRS and you don’t want to have to buy OSRS gold to get the necessary requirement to make it through a quest, then fear not. There are choices available to you without needing a Twisted Bow to survive or having to find OSRS gold for sale.

The Grand Tree

If you’re looking for something to provide you with some decent XP, then The Grand Tree is a great choice early on. What’s more, there isn’t much effort needed to get yourself through the quest. You can get in excess of 26,000 XP for three of your skills once it is completed. It shouldn’t take up too much of your time either and serves as a setup to the popular Monkey Madness quest. You will have to overcome a level 172 Black Demon, but this shouldn’t cause you too much trouble even early on. Just safe-spot him using your ranged or magic abilities from a distance and you’ll be fine.

The Knight’s Sword

Another great quest that will give you the opportunity to earn a wealth of XP early on in the game is The Knight’s Sword. Taking some food with you is important advice here, since there will be Ice Warriors and Ice Giants at level 57 and 53 respectively to get past. You might be low on hit points at this point of the game, so it’s worthwhile taking something with you.

If you do finish this quest, try to do so without getting anything done where smithing is concerned. The reason being is that when you complete The Knight’s Sword, you can go from level 1 to 29 in your smithing skill. This will save you hours of time that you would have normally have spent getting your smithing up to speed, so it is definitely worth investing your time into.

Tree Gnome Village

Another vital quest for beginners in the Tree Gnome Village. You will need to be able to beat the Khazard Warlord in this instance, who is at level 112. Don’t worry about this level, however, as it isn’t quite as an intimidating encounter as you’d expect.

Elsewhere, you can expect to take home a lot of attack XP from this quest. You will also need to complete this quest as well if you want to get started with Monkey Madness, which is a quest that you won’t want to miss out on when you are working your way out of the lower levels. Overall, you just need to know that this isn’t a hard task to finish, and you can get through it without having to worry too much about your combat skills in these early stages.

Witch’s House

If you are looking for absolute beginner quests, then the next couple of choices are great for you. Firstly, we have Witch’s House, which is a brief and straightforward outing for you and your character. It won’t require you to put much effort in, but you will need to make sure you have a good weapon and some food with you to take on the four monsters that you come up against.
