Broccoli Cheese Curd Frittatas

So you have decided to try the keto diet, well you are not alone. Keto has become increasingly popular in recent years. Deciding what to eat and what not to, on a keto diet, can be a bit tricky. There are a lot of food items that you have to avoid, but that does not mean you cannot eat a delicious meal.

Today I am sharing with you my ultimate keto diet recipe – Broccoli Cheese Curd Frittatas. Low-carb broccoli cheese curd frittatas are full of nutrients and can be made in one pan. This dish is incredibly easy and versatile, you don’t need many ingredients, and it makes for a great weekend breakfast.

Alternatively, it can be divided into portions and refrigerated for quick snacks or lunch throughout the week. Broccoli cheese frittata is also kid-friendly and is an excellent way to feed your kids some vegetables.

Before jumping into the recipe, here are some notes for you.

If you are grilling broccoli cheese curds frittatas, you can use an iron skillet. It gives the perfect texture. If you cook on the gas, you will have to flip the frittata over once the bottom is done cooking. To refrigerate and reheat the frittatas, using glassware is the best option.

So, let’s start the recipe.

b). Iron Skillet or a non-stick frying pan

c). A spatula

f). Your Favourite seasoning to taste

g). Olive oil 1 Teaspoon

Directions:-

Preparation:

Start with cutting fresh broccoli florets and stems into bite-sized pieces. Steam lightly in the microwave or a steamer. Remove the excess water and dry with paper towels if wet. If you are using leftover broccoli, chop it into small pieces and make sure it is dry.

Method:-

Take a large bowl and add broccoli. Mix it with some keto-friendly flour, eggs, salt & pepper, ginger & garlic powder, seasoning, and some olive oil. Now add cheese curds and mix until thoroughly combined.

Cook:

If you are using gas, place a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spray some cooking oil and spread the mixture evenly. Cook one side for about 4 minutes and flip it over. Again cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

If you are using griller, take an iron skillet, spread the mixture, and place it under the grill for 5 minutes. Once it is cooked, cut it into small portions and serve.

You can refrigerate your broccoli and cheese curds frittata for up to 5 days. Remember, when refrigerating the dish, it should be cooled completely, and you need to keep in an airtight glass container.

The key to a good meal is the quality of the ingredients you are using. If you are not going to use fresh cheese curds or fresh broccoli, your frittatas are not going to be as good as they could be.

I get my cheese curds from Pure Dairy, and they are super delicious and squeaky. They use IQF technology for cheese curd packaging, which means they remain fresh even without nasty additives. You can also get fresh cheese curds in Australia from Pure Dairy, call them!
